Here is a mid 1970s Women's Medium (comparable to a men's small) Premium Vest Top racepants to be added to any ArcticWear Jacket for a two-piece ArcticWear snowmobile suit. These are original Arctic Cat Arcticwear by Arctic Enterprises Inc., of Thief River Falls, Minnesota.
These racepants are in excellent shape and have seen very little wear. The snaps on the inner leggings are nice and clean and the paint is good on the snaps. The Talon side pocket zipper pulls are nice and shiny. These racepants have the popcorn quilting back and shoulder for added comfort and flared legs for modern fashion (mid 70s and beyond). The Arcticwear clothing was among the best quality in the industry in its time.
These premium racepants have a tough 420 denier oxford nylon body, filled with the Dacron® 88 insulation.
Did You Know? : All ArcticWear suits were built around Dacron® 88 insulation which is high density and warm without bulky weight.
7.2 ounces of Dacron® 88 per square yard keeps you just as warm as 9.1 ounces per yard of most other polyester insulations.
These are a Women's Medium but the black racepants and bibs were easily unisex and can be worn by both men and women. Please refer to the measurements below and compare to something you know fits you for a proper fit.
