The third full-length by punk superstars NOFX sees the band putting together their last full length without the help of guitarist El Hefe, who would eventually replace Steve the Caucasian who left the band after recording this album. With the band still developing the sloppy, tongue-in-cheek punk rock we know and love them for today, Ribbed drags a bit thanks to a lack of the "polish" (if you can call it that) that the band would begin displaying from White Trash... and on. But try and listen to songs like "New Boobs" and "The Moron Brothers" and not crack at least a small smile at the stupid fun. At least it's still mildly enjoyable from time to time, unlike Maximumrocknroll. (Tony)
