This tasty limited etched 7" single comes in an edition of 1000 copies only and includes a free 'stay positive' tattoo. It is the first taster of the forthcoming new album from blue collar legends, The Hold Steady. It's also the first single for their new label, Rough Trade. And the first song ever to feature the word 'sequestered!' It features contributions from Doug Gilliard (Guided By Voices) and Ben Nichols (Lucero). The track shows real intent with sledgehammer riffing, gravel vocals, squealing Clarence Clemons inspired sax and soothing hammond. It's a four minute drama about one night stands and cross state hangovers. It's equal parts Springsteen and pure rock n roll. (Rough Trade Records)
