One of the earliest groups to emerge from the Detroit garage rock scene, the Detroit Cobras developed a reputation as the Midwest's finest, and most distinctive, cover band. Preferring to record other artists material to their own, the Cobras would find gems in the vaults of lost R&B and rock'n'roll classics. With songs in hand, the Detroit Cobras modified them to fit their raunchy, swaggering style and aural personality. This box set of 6 x 7"s, each with a picture sleeve, presented in a hard box contains all the original recordings including singles and unreleased tracks from 1995-1997 including the first 3 7" singles plus nine previously unreleased studio tracks from the same era.
