Pair of small vintage rhinestone shoe buckles, "Silverite F & Co.", circa 1915. The crossbar allows for a 1/2 inch ribbon or belt to pass through. Fishel & Co trademarked the term "Silverite" to describe an alloy of metal that resembles platinum, "in imitation of designs of genuine diamonds and rhinestones set in platinum and selling at reasonable wholesale prices."
Overall dimensions about 1 3/8 inches by 7/8 inches.
Condition is excellent.
