Very beautiful early 19th century blown-molded ink well with pewter top. Glass has a swirling, drapery pattern with hand-cut 32-point star on base.
It is approx. 5 inches tall with the top closed, and 3 1/2 inches in diameter.
The cap has a few dents and there is some inkstaining to the collar. Otherwise, it is in fine condition.
