Most people think of the pink bracts as the bloom, but the true flower are small white flowers that eventually poke out of the bracts as they age. This is an improved variety of the standard ginger used in the floral industry, it flowers generously all year round with a beautiful shape and color. These premium Alpinia gingers are larger than the standard ginger and the plant averages 8 to 10 ft. in height. Can be grown in large containers with proper care.
Full sun to partial shade. Needs moist environment. Avoid the soil becoming totally dry.
