Gala crystal vase made by J. B. Higbee Glass Co in the early 1900s. The Gala pattern was designed by Ira M. Clarke and patented on September 9, 1913. Also known as Hawaiian Lei and Daisy With X Band. Diamond design with daisy-type flower with panels like Colonial Flute design producing the scalloped-top edge.
This flared crystal vase stands 6 inches tall and has a wide flared opening of 6 3/4 inch diameter. The diameter of the base is 3 3/4 inches. The vase is marked with the Higbee trademark bee. Looking through the inside of the vase, you can see the H I G. 4-part mold. There are no chips or cracks. There are some small bubbles and a few scratches in the glass. Glass is clear. Sits level.
