New Missouri Meerschaum
Country Gentleman Corn Cob Pipe
(Straight Stem)

I hate to show favoritism, but the Gentleman is my personal daily pipe. With its smooth, dark burnished bowl and a bent filtered stem, it’s a very nice option for the smoker who wants a pipe with more of a briar look.

The filtered stem of your new Country Gentleman pipe comes ready to go with only one Medico filter, so you might consider adding a pack or two of our inexpensive filters to your order.

What a pipe!
The Country Gentleman is probally one of the best pipes I own and I have six of 'em right now. (I didn't get them from Aristocob but only because I only recently saw the web store. I have remedied that with a purchase of a few pipes which I will review when they get to me.) The CG will last you a spell if you take care of it. I have two of my six in my rack right now. Both of them have been smoked daily for at least three years. There has been no detectable breakdown of materials, even the stems. It doesn't have a hardwood plug but mine have not even a hint of burn out. The four I have in reserve are probably wondering if I have forgotten about them. I have not! The CG smokes sweet and does real justice to burlys and virginias. I imagine it would provide excellent smoke with whatever you choose to fill it with! If you don't have at one of these great looking, great smoking handfillers of a pipe you gotta get one. Or two. Or three. At these prices stock up!

Awesome
This is my third MM pipe after the Legend and the Pony Express and my first bought from Aristocob. Awesome pipe! I love the size and look. Smoked just like I knew a cob would impressed overall. Second: this was my first cob ordered from Aristocob, along with a MacArthur Finished. Must say impressed with delivery. Received down here in South Texas three days after ordered, no problems at all. Plus I got two golf tees that I had seen in many of Scott's videos. Great job guys!!!

Surprised
I have been a pipe smoker for many years and had many a Corn Cob. I've always purchased ones with the hardwood bottom to get my monies worth, as it were... Scott's glowing reviews of the Country Gentleman persuaded me to take a flier on it, it was my first without the hardwood plug. I have to say I was surprised that it made it all the way across the country in 3 days and even more surprised that putting match to leaf that this was the best smoking Cobb I've owned, on par with some of my Briar. There will be more Country Gentleman's to come... Thanks Scott.

My Favorite Pipe
I have not been smoking long, and have only smoked from Missouri Meerschaum cobs. I own at least one pipe from the majority of the Missouri Meerschaum line and the Gentleman is by far my favorite smoker. The Bowl is a great size for a neat 30-45 minute smoke. Even when pushed hard the middle to bottom of the pipe never overheats. The pipe looks good and unique. If you're not sure of what MM pipe to try, or are looking to try your first cob you can't go wrong with the Country Gentleman...
