The Good, the Bent, and the Ugly
Nice pipe that smokes well. Really nice looking too. I'm enjoying these cob pipes. I only have two briars and needed to increase my pipes so I can rotate. I like this one just as well if not better than my briars. My one criticism is that I can't fit a pipe cleaner through the bent bit. This is not a problem with one of my other MM Corncobs that is bent... makes cleaning more difficult. My next one will be a straight. |

The Best of the Best...
This is my first Missouri Meerschaum and won't be my last! Mine is the bent version which holds quite a bit of tobacco for a nice smoke. Some have commented that the bowl gets hot but mine never does. I really like the darker finish too.
UPDATE: 12/30/2011 - Just bought another three of these great pipes. I have pretty much sold off all my briars and exclusively smoke MM and this is by far my favorite. You won't go wrong with this pipe.
Also... Scott is a great guy. Be sure and buy your MM's here! |

My favourite one too
I only smoke english blends in this pipe, and it is the one I like the most of all my corncob pipes. It's beautiful, light, comfortable and smokes cool all the way through. Truly Gentlemanly. |

Excellent Pipe
So I have been pipe smoking for 3 years now and I have tried two differint kinds of briar pipes, a clay one and several Gentleman Corn Cobs. This is the best pipe I have ever used for one simple reason, it has so much airflow that the quality of the smoke can not be matched by most briar pipes. I just didn't have to worry about packing it too tightly by acident or having to keep pipe cleaners handy mid smoke becase of the classic gurgle gurgle. They look way better in real life than in the photo, I feel they also look better than most briars do because of all the natural multi-coloredness they have going on.
My only complaints are that I have to sand all the stems I get because they are very sharp and hurt my skin when I grip the pipe in my teeth, that the stems are so flimsy that I bite completely through them every 2 months, and that some of them are improperly drilled or can't stand up when you set them down.
Small price to pay for such a cheap pipe with such a high quality smoke. |

No laughing matter
Absolutely one the best smokes out there! I've hardly touched a traditional pipe since going "cob." The Country Gentleman is hands down the favorite pipe in my collection, followed by the Diplomat. For the price, this pipe should definitely be given an opportunity to show you what the hype is truly about. My wife made fun of it when it arrived, but after tasting the difference for herself she said "I doubt you'll smoke any of the other expensive pipes I've bought you." |
